Main Characters of Family

The Griffins

	This is the main character of Family Guy, Peter Griffin. Peter is a devoted father and friend. He is fat and stupid though (just look at the picture). Some of his suggestions don't make sense, but he is the comedy of Family Guy. During most episodes he commingles with his friends Joe, Cleveland, and Quagmire either at the Drunken Clam (The Bar at Quahog) or other places causing mischief. Peter works for Mr. Jonathan Weed at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy factory in Quahog. He has had numerous other jobs that will take an eternity to list because he has had so many, but some include Death, the president of and Congressional lobbyist for "El Dorado Cigarettes, and the host of Family Fued.
This is Lois Griffin, Peter's Wife, she is the brains of the couple. Her father Carter Pewterschmidt hates Peter and cannot believe that his daughter actually married Peter. Lois is a stay at home mom, but she also teaches piano to help the family. Most of her work though is caring for her three children and Peter.
	This is Megan Griffin the oldest of the three Griffin children. She is sixteen and attends James Wood High School in Quahog, where she tries to be a member of the "cool crowd" led by Connie D'Amico the most popular girl at James Wood High School. In the episode called, "Screwed the Pooch" it is found out that Peter is not Meg's real father, but Stan Thompson is. For the most part Meg is unnoticed like when Peter is trying to become a jouster he hooks his lance in Meg's earring does not notice her screaming as he drags her across the house.
This is Chris Griffin, the second child of Lois and Peter. Like his father, Chris has little intelligence and common sense. He does have some untapped talents inside though. Like his artistic talent found in the episode "A Picture is Worth of a $1,000". Chris also has no friends except for his tree, which Peter kills with a shotgun in the episode "Da Boom", and a pimple named Doug in the episode "Brian the Bachelor" which causes Chris to become involved in mischievous acts, one being destroying all the skin products at the Goldman Pharmacy. Chris is overweight, and a funny newspaper headline "Local Woman Gives Birth to Elephant Child" with Lois holding Chris who is almost as big as she is.
	This Stewie Griffin the youngest and most intelligent of the Griffin's children despite his age of one. He is always trying to kill Lois which is the niche he has happily taken. He has ambitions of taking over as the dictator of the world, but when he sees his future in the First Family Guy Movie "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" where becomes a good boy, and as an adult has no ambition of taking over the world.
This is Brian the Griffin family dog. Peter met Brian on the street where he was a stray. Peter brought Brian to his house and the rest is history. Brian is extremely more intelligent than Peter though his still exhibits some of the qualities of a dog such as sleeping at the foot of Peter's bed. He does show human quality such as being able to walk on two feet. Brian is an alcoholic and in the episode "The Thin White Line" Brian becomes addicted to cocaine and has to go to therapy.

The Swansons

This Joe Swanson, Peter's friend, and neighbor. Joe is a macho cop who was paralyzed on Christmas by a person that looked like the Grinch. He became a paraplegic when he fell off the orphanage roof where the "Grinch" had stolen some toys. In one episode he became un-paralyzed for a moment when he was thrust into the snow and he could stand again, but his son, Kevin, re-paralyzed him when he came flying in and clipped him and Joe was a paraplegic again.

This is Bonnie Swanson, Joe's wife. She is very timid and has been pregnant since Season One when the Swansons came onto the Family Guy scene. It is shown that she has been pregnant for six years when Peter says it in the Season Four episode "Blind Ambition". She never says no to Joe and becomes aroused when Joe gets into some action as a cop or when he tells a lie.

This is Kevin Swanson, son of Bonnie and Joe. He is an independant person of whom Meg is crazy for. He is just like his father strong, enthusiastic, and handsome.

Glenn Quagmire

This is another of Peter's friends, Glenn Quagmire. Peter met Quagmire on a Navy ship after he was booted from the Pewterschmidt house after saying that he was going to marry Lois and Carter didn' t take it so well. Anyway Quagmire is a sex-crazed mongrel who loves Lois and Peter doesn't even know Quagmire is crazy about Lois. Quagmire has many different catch phrases that he uses. The ones he uses most commonly are "giggity giggity giggity" and "oh".

Cleveland Brown

This is another of Peter's friends, Cleveland Brown. Peter and Cleveland met some time in the 70's when Peter was attempting to get a ride back to Rhode Island to see Lois where he and Cleveland were chased by the KKK until they left the Southern states. Cleveland has a slow monotonous tone, but he didn't always have his slow tone, in fact he was an auctioneer until he was hit in the head by a totem pole and his speech became slow. Cleveland is married to Loretta Brown, who ditches Cleveland in the episode "Cleveland-Loretta-Quagmire" because Cleveland has no passion in their relationship. He has a son named Cleveland, Jr. who has ADHD.
