What is Grantsburg Science Club and Research Biology?

We are students at Grantsburg High School who are involved in ongoing research projects in partnership with the National Park Service, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Fisheries Department at the University of Minnesota, and the Biology Department at Macalester College.  Through these projects, we engage in hands on research while providing useful information about our local environment, and the species present in that environment.

Our Philosophy:

"Never doubt that a committed group of amateurs can contribute mightily to science."

-Aldo Leopold
